Once upon a time there was a very small lobster who had anal leakage. So the doctor sent her to the Disney Princess On Ice. While there she realized that if she had gone to an OSU game she would have learned about the "California Mexicans" and perhaps eaten so much mexican food that it would stop the leakage.
But since she didn't, she decided that after the ice show she would visit a ranch-type home in NE Portland she had heard about hoping it would help. It didn't.
So on she went. Searching with her Mother, dressed in a white robe thingy with something in her hair. They decided that the place to go was the Chicago Cubs stadium where they bumped into Condi. And of course Condi was of no help either.
So.....off to Scotland they went. Lobster girl and Mom. While there, they noticed William Wallaces family dancing in the street to the tune of Braveheart. They couldn't handle it so they went out on a boat in stormy weather to seek the advice of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster.
No Nessie either.
They flew back to the states to seek the advice of Joey Wong at OSU. His only advice was to hit and run really hard. Not the advice they were looking for to cure the leakage.
But they did have one last thought. So off to Portland. They went to see the new band Mirrors. They played so good and so loud that the little lobster began to click its little pincher things to the beat.
The next thing we new the whole place was clicking and dancing.
And she was cured of the dreaded anal leakage.

So, not only is going to an OSU game fun because of the football, but the things you see and overhear is priceless.
Such as....
"California is Oregons Mexico"
"I see orange people"
Then there was a UCLA fan who made a comment about the weather (it was a little rainy that day), and someone said "yeah? well at least we don't have forest fires". Ooh burn. Get it? Burn!
Within a few weeks, California was on fire. Oops.

Twenty two days.
Just Twenty two days until combat shopping at 6AM.
But more importantly........twenty two days until the Mac house becomes Christmasy.
Yeah baby...
So if for some reason you cannot locate me, you may want to check the yards as likely I will be out there kicking raindeer.
Merry Christmas!

Camp Gitcheegoomee has been winterized. The waters of the dreaded Turner Creek have been on the rise. The Gnomes have gone North for the Winter. Poncho has taken his flag and headed South and the Injuns have headed to their Winter camp.
But not to worry....
Fort Wilderness and Monkey Bridge will remain open to any who dare the nasty winter months.

Ibuprofen is good!
To quote Smiles A lot from Dances with Wolves,........"my arm doesn't work".
But first, lets go back a week or two. Shall we?
It all began by cutting down trees and ripping up shrubs to make way for the new trailer pad.
The pile of debris was huge. Luckily for me someone else hauled it away.
Next was the task of removing and relocating what I believe to be quite a lot of soil and more debris. That's when it got fun. Because to move the soil, I had to remove the stumps.
Oh boy. Stump grinders are cool. However, it was like trying to hold onto a bucking bull. Quite heavy and very powerful. I just told myself to Man-up and get it done. So I did.
Except doing it required me to use muscles that I didn't know I had. Oh well.
Then. Yesterday, I had a pile of crushed rock delivered and dumped. Now for the spreading.
And that my friends.....is why my arm doesn't work too well right now.

I Got Your Line Item Veto Hangin'
It's only October 2007. Many months from the presidential primaries. And even many more months from the actual elections.
Last night, we watched some of a presidential debate. We were hoping to hear some words of wisdom from someone. Anyone!
All it did was make us turn the channel.
I am already tired of the political blah blah blah. If they want my vote, they need to speak my language.
And I am guessing I am not alone. How many times did they say Line Item Veto I wonder?
Anyone have a clue what it means? Not me!
And if they are going to have a debate and include all folks running, why were 90% of the questions aimed at two guys?
Bull crap! That's why. Simple. Bull crap!
Have a nice day!
