Perhaps one of the best films I have seen in a long time. Writing and acting. The music is amazing and the story is glorious.

I just ordered the soundtrack and I cannot wait to see it again.

Do yourself a favor and go see it.

Missing Bloggers

Be on the look out for the following bloggers:

Jon, Amy, Nikki and Mary.

They have disapeared and have not been heard from for a while.

Jon was last heard from on October 1st. Perhaps the Chicago Cubs had something to do with his disapearance?

Amy, the blog mistress was last heard from on Friday, November 2nd. I just knew that Halloween was bad!

Nikki likely had bad turkey as we have not heard from her since Sunday, November 18th.

And Mary may have been abducted by the Colorada State University gang. Perhaps they heard she was interested in the NorthWest and could not have it.

Denny Crane for President

A few weeks ago Sue NetFlixed Boston Legal. It took me a few episodes but now I am completely hooked. The writing is good and William Shatner is freaking hilarious. One scene last night someone actually made mention of some kind of lice that are killing salmon. The person said they were refered to as "cling-ons". He just looked at him and said "did you say cling-ons?"
Priceless.

Platypus

Oregon State University vs. University of Oregon in the Civil War game.

Ducks and Beavers. As in the Duck Billed Platypus.

What a freaky looking beast.

Back in 1959 some dude carved a trophy of the Platypus to be used as a traveling trophy between the two schools. Two years later it was lost. Well..........it has turned up once again. And looks to be going to the winner.

So the remaining Munchkins finally got their Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week. Not bad. It only took Hollywood 68 stinking years. The Wizard of Oz came out in 1939. But to make it worse, they got one star to share among themselves. The least they could have done is give them their own star. These little dudes are Hollywoods history from the golden era. They deserved better.

May the flying monkeys fly up the tail feathers of the Walk of fame people.
