Platypus

Oregon State University vs. University of Oregon in the Civil War game.
Ducks and Beavers. As in the Duck Billed Platypus.
What a freaky looking beast.
Back in 1959 some dude carved a trophy of the Platypus to be used as a traveling trophy between the two schools. Two years later it was lost. Well..........it has turned up once again. And looks to be going to the winner.
Go Beavers!

Yeah, really wierd story there. The swim team somehow got possesion of it and used it for years as their U of O and Oregon State rivalry trophy.
Then it was locked in some storage cabinet for years after a remodel of the area that held the swim teams trophys.
But the really funny thing is, once they found the trophy, they had to be convinced not to just "loose" it again. It looks a little like a smooth cucumber with feet. Yeah, you get the picture... Can you say phallic?

I spelled "weird" wrong again... This is one of the words that is not "i" before "e" except after "c". My bad.
