Oh, that's why you are called Hopper

After a few hundred softball games, from the Jumping Jelly Beans (7 years old) to the Liberty Falcons, Haley has ended her softball career with high honors.

Haley has made third team all-conference.

She led the team with 93 put outs, 8 doubles and her on-base-average was .413. All in just 17 games, missing the last three due to a broken hand. Not bad hopper!

I already miss seeing you play.

Hopper, thank you for years of amazing softball, I couldn't be more proud!
THIRD TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE!
Yeah that would be my "Haley Bailey", "Hop Dog", "the Pooch", "Haze", "Number 5..."

"You got it!, Rip one Hopper, Give it a ride, See it - Drive it! Way to stay with it Haley!, Awesome Hit Haze, Nice Eye #5, Good Job Pooch..." (((Wiping away real tears here...)))

Oh, how sad. I will miss going to her games too. I'm just starting out with all of this and I can't even imagine how I'm going to feel when the kids are done with school/sports/home. Ugh, makes me a little nauseous.

Hmm... Minerva doesn't play softball, so I can't really commiserate. She DOES bite ankles though.... That's kind of a sport, right? Although I think that, unlike you guys, I would be HAPPY to see that come to an end.

They grow up so fast.
(And by THEY I mean WE, of course... being a young'n myself)
